14 Days Uganda Wildlife Tour will take you on your Uganda safari to explore big game viewing, mountain gorilla and chimpanzee trekking, and boat cruises along Uganda’s waters. Uganda surely commands a voice in eco-tourism, among the attractions Uganda boasts are primates, abundant game, bird life, and scenic beauty.

On this 14 days safari we shall take you to explore Uganda’s wildlife and also some of the authentic sites like the river Nile, during these two weeks, you will get to see the big five, track gorillas in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park, and chimpanzee expeditions in their natural habitat Kibale national park for the encounter of lifetime memories in the wild but habituated chimps.

You will proceed to view games in our prized Murchison Falls National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park, and through the journey you will explore a lot of unique geographical features and scenic allure, plus a great deal of diverse cultures.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival

On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be highly welcomed by our safari guide from African Scenic Beauty Safaris, who will be eagerly waiting to pick you up upon your arrival and drop you at the booked hotel in Kampala/ Entebbe.

Day 2 - Transfer to Murchison fall national park

You will have an early morning breakfast and meet your guide, who will pick you up and transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park, the largest park in Uganda. It takes 4-5 hours to drive by road, and have a lunch stop in Masindi town after proceeding to the park. On arrival, you will be taken to visit the top of the falls where the river Nile forces its way through the rocky gap of 7 meters. You later check into the booked lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 - Full days explore Murchison fall national park

Start your day with a warm cup of coffee/tea and meet your safari guide to take on the morning game drive in search of wildlife that is unique in African savannahs, like solitary cape buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, sitatunga, lions, leopards, and hyenas alongside a wide variety of bird species. You later return to the hotel for a full breakfast and relax until lunch.

In the afternoon, you will go for an adventure boat cruise on the River Nile at the bottom of thundering falls, where you are given to view more wildlife like crocodiles, schools of hippos, waterbuck, bird life like shoebill storks, and many more. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 - Transfer to Fort portal

You will have an early morning breakfast and check out of the lodge to transfer to Fort Portal, passing via the Albertine escarpments of the western arm rift valley. Drive through Hoima town of the Bunyoro kingdom and the amazing countryside of many tea plantations and beautiful homesteads. You will arrive in Fort Portal by afternoon and check into the booked lodge until dinner and overnight.

Day 5 - Explore Kibale National Park

You will have an early morning breakfast and transfer to the briefing center of Kibale National Park in Kanyachu. After your briefing from ranger guides, they will lead you to the forest for the primate watching. Afternoon, you will go for the Bigodi wetland swamp walk or visit community families to have a view of their culture. You will later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 6 - Transfer to Semliki National Park

To explore Sempaya hot springs and afternoon transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Visit Semuliki National Park. This fantastic scenery, hot springs, forest walk, amazing birdlife, primates viewing, and the Semuliki River meander. At Mungu Ni mukubwa, while the mountain range, the road offers scenic views of a meandering river, fuming hot springs, and tropical rainforest. Have a picnic lunch at Sempaya hot springs and then drive to Queen Elizabeth national park, arriving by late evening, check into the booked lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 - Morning Visit To Kyambura Gorge And Afternoon Boat Cruise On Kazinga Channel

Rise before the sun and drive to Kyambura Gorge for the thrilling chimpanzee trekking. Your guided walk takes about 2-5 hours, where you have chances of meeting more primates alongside chimps like red colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, olive baboons, red-tailed monkeys, and many more. And you should know that chimpanzee tracking permits here a much cheaper than for Kibale National Park.

You will later return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will be taken for the adventure boat cruise on the Kazinga channel that gives you a chance to explore more wildlife on water, like schools of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and elephants are also seen cooling off their bodies, waterbucks alongside water birds.

Day 8 - Game Drive In Ishasha Sector To Look For Tree Climbing Lions

You will have an early morning breakfast and check out of the lodge to go for a morning game drive to the southern remote sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, Ishasha sector, known for its rare tree-climbing lions. You will likely meet some wildlife along the way, like hippos, hyenas, elephants, leopards, waterbucks, and many more.

You will reach by midday and relax at the booked hotel and relax until lunch. Immediately after your lunch, you will go for another game drive through the Katooke gate to look for tree-climbing lions. Later return to the hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 9 - Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will have a relaxed breakfast and check out of the lodge to transfer to Buhoma with interesting views along the way, like tea plantations, tea factories in Kayoza, then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, checking into the booked hotel for lunch and relaxing until dinner and overnight.

Day 10 - Gorilla Experience In Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

 You will have an early morning game drive and then meet your driver to transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing by Uganda wildlife rangers guides, immediately your gorilla trek will start which takes about 2-8 hours in the forest looking for the gentle apes, upon meeting them you will be allowed to be with them for 1 hour and return to the lodge for the rest of the day until dinner and overnight.

Day 11 - Morning Relaxation At The Lodge And Afternoon Community Walk To Batwa

You will have a relaxed breakfast and enjoy your morning at the lodge while relaxing from the long day hike of gorilla trekking until lunch. In the afternoon, you will walk to the community of Batwa on the edges of Bwindi forest. The Batwa are the ancient pygmies who lived in the forest of Bwindi as hunters and food gatherers for survival. You will spend while learning about their culture.

Day 12 - Transfer To Lake Mburo National Park

Early Breakfast and check out of the lodge to transfer to Lake Mburo National Park with its amazing sceneries of rolling hills and slopes in the Kigezi region, and then to the calm town of Mbarara,  where you will have a lunch stop after continuing to the booked lodge for the rest of the day.

Day 13 - Morning Game And Afternoon Boat Cruise

You will wake up early morning and take a warm cup of coffee/tea, and meet your guide to go for the morning game drive to search for wildlife in this small savanna park, like sitatunga, dikers, elands, zebras, Oribis elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and many more and later return to the lodge for full breakfast and relax until lunch.

In the afternoon, you will drive to go for the adventure boat cruise on Lake Mburo, where you will have another chance to see wildlife on the water like hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks on the banks of the lake, and water birds. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 14 - Transfer To Kampala And Departure

You will have a relaxed breakfast and check out of the lodge to transfer to Kampala with en-route game viewing as you’re getting out of the park, and also another stop at the Uganda equator line for photo moments and explore souvenir markets. You will reach Kampala by lunchtime and check into the hotel to relax until flight time.
