Trip Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival

You will be picked up from the airport by our professional guide, then head to the budget accommodation of your choice in Entebbe where you will check in for dinner and overnight. Airport guest house

Day 2 - Travel to Murchison falls national park

Early Morning, after breakfast, we will take a drive to Murchison Falls National Park. On our way, we will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, then have lunch on the way, and continue to the Lodge in the park. Pakuba Safari Lodge (FB)

Day 3 - Game Drive - Murchison falls national park

After morning breakfast, we will go for a game drive to view animals like Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, and others. Come back for lunch at the lodge, then embark on another safari boat cruise in the afternoon to view the falls from the bottom, then hike to the top. Evening game drive as you check in to your lodge. Day 4 - Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early in the morning, after breakfast, we will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way, we will stop in Fort Portal town for Lunch and later proceed to the park.  If time allows, have a game drive in the evening to view the big cats and other animals of the savannah. Bush lodge

Day 5 - Game Drive - Queen Elizabeth National Park

Will go for a morning game drive after breakfast to view animals like Elephants, Antelopes, Lions, Uganda Kobs, Warthogs, Buffaloes, Bush-backs, Duikers, and some beautiful species of birds then afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel where we you will see many birds and aquatic animals like, Crocodiles, Nile monitor lizard, Hippos, Water Birds like pelicans, stocks, cormorant and other species of birds.

Return for dinner and overnight at the lodge/hotel. Bush lodge

Day 6 - Ishasha Sector

Will drive to the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth national park (Ishasha is famous for tree-climbing Lions) Have lunch, and do another game drive in the evening looking for famous tree-climbing lions and also other animals which are not in the Mweya area especially the topis, Birds, Water Bucks, Uganda Kobs, Elephants, and others, proceed to Bwindi national park for Check in at the lodge. Day 7 - Gorilla Trekking - Bwindi Impenetrable NP

After breakfast, we will go for a short briefing at the park site, organizing to go for Gorilla trekking. Which might either take the whole day or half a day alongside your packed lunch?  Buhoma Havel Lodge (FB).

Day 8 - Full day birding Ruhija

Full-day birding in Ruhija at high altitude for Albertine Rift endemics.

Day 9 - Lake Mburo national park

After taking breakfast, you will leave Bwindi for Lake Mburo National Park. The journey to Lake Mburo National Park takes you through an area known as the “Switzerland of Africa”. Expect to drive past the beautiful-looking terraced hills, valleys, and vast banana plantations.

Lunch will be in Mbarara town before continuing to the park. Lake Mburo National Park covers an area of about 371 square Kilometers. The park is blessed with over 335 species of birds, Zebras, buffaloes, impalas, reedbucks, warthogs, leopards, oribi, topis, eland, and waterbucks, among many other creatures. You will arrive in time to catch the 2-hour afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo to see water birds, hippos, zebras, crocodiles, and most of the park animals drinking or bathing by the shores.

Day 10 - Morning Walk in the Park

Will have a morning walk in the park with the ranger guide to get eye-to-eye contact with the animals. Return for breakfast, then drive to Entebbe. Depending on the flight schedule.
